I work at Panera Bread. When I am working on a register, I get to crack open rolls of coins. When I peel off the coin wrapper, I rip off the ends and put them on my fingers as rings. It's fun. I was about to perform this fun activity today when one of my managers said "Denise, no. How old are you?" to which I responded "22." (One of my coworkers said "You're 22? You act like you're 18.") I get this a lot. Let's review my lifestyle.
Things about me that are not 22-year-old-like:
1. I wear a toothbrush bracelet.
2. I bought primary colored spoons and forks with animal heads on them when I moved into my apartment.
3. I wore powerpuff girl underwear today.
4. I made a Disney mix CD about a month ago.
5. I don't think matching is necessary.
6. I have Blue's Clues sheet on my bed at my parent's house and matching decals on the walls.
7. I watch Blue's Clues (only the ones with Steve - I hate Joe).
8. I buy most of my t-shirts in the little boys section of Wal-Mart.
9. I've never had a boyfriend.
10. I've been drinking for about a year and a half.
11. I buy Veggie Tales shaped chicken nuggets.
12. I won't call to order pizza.
13. I have shes with lady bugs on them.
14. I found my ponytail holders with plush bunny heads on them and I put one in my hair immediately.
Ok, that's enough. I'll have to think about this for a while.

Here are the ones that we are similar on:
#4. I will go streaks of listening to only Disney CD's, and I make other people in my car perform the concert with me as I become Jasmine/Cruella/Ursula/Simba etc.
#6. I had planes, trains, and automobile sheets on my bed the entire time through college. They were blue with chalk-drawn modes of transportation on them.
#10. When I was your age, I had only been drinking for that long also.
#11. I buy Wiggles shaped fruit snacks.
#12. When I had a roommate, I refused to call to order anything.
#13. I wear old man slippers outside of my house, and I love them.
Why grow up when being young is so much more fun?
